I want to be able to record images of my car outside my house?
You need only to have the Crime-Seen DVR (CS DVRBX) plugged into your PC with a camera pointingtowards that area and plugged into one of the 4 x inputs on our unit. An Infra Red camera will allow night and daytime images. You can programme the system to record on motion detection only to record only relevant Information. You may also wish to record a specific area of the screen displayed on motion detection.
This can be done by masking an area using your PC mouse meaning recordings are activated in this area only. You can use cameras to view any part of your property to perform same functions i.e. back door, shed, wildlife, baby monitor, pet watch etc.
Can I see live images of my office or business premises from home or anywhere in the world?
Yes, you can see live images by logging onto our website, click on client download and enter your productnumber for live, clear images to use for seeing who has arrived or left your workplace, who is at the reception etc. You can even see and talk live to them. You can view live images anytime, anywhere in the world.
In addition you can intercept recorded images remotely. You can alternatively take your disc to the office and load the client programme and follow the same log in procedure.
Can I see the images from my mobile phone?
If you have a pc mobile phone, it will be possible in most cases, otherwise you can use mobile to intercept Images sent to your email address upon image alert to email function. Can I perform video audio conferencing to other people who do not have the unit installed? Yes you can. Upto eight people can use the client download from our website and see and hear you at the
same time providing you provide them access with your product number.
Can I record TV to my PC using Crime-Seen DVR and watch live over the internet anywhere?
Yes, you can record any channel you wish straight to your Hard Drive, or even watch a channel live over the internet remotely.
Why is Crime-Seen any better than other DVRs?
Many reasons…firstly and most important is both the DVR unit and the software have MPEG4 compression in built (MPEG4 Double Compression). This results in better performance than almost any other technology in use today for live, stable data transmission (2-5kb frame size). Also as this is small and flexible and PC based you can use it for live internet watching.
Also remote connection is done using DNS….allowing you to connect remotely without your IP address. If I have several premises I want to watch at the same time what do I need? You need any Crime-Seen product connected at those sites and you can monitor, record and watch upto
32 x different sites anytime, anywhere using our UCM software. This acts as a client programme which comes as standard in your Crime-Seen software, but with the exception of 32 x screenshots on your PC screen interface, meaning you have no need to keep re-entering different product numbers to connect to different sites.
I already have CCTV cameras, can I use my existing cameras with Crime-Seen DVR (CS DVRBX) unit?
Yes, our unit will work with any existing cameras, even certain PTZ (Pan, Tilt, Zoom). Simply plug cameras into the front of the unit either directly or if cable is coaxial RG59, then attach a BNC adaptor to fit.
Office, Shop, or Business Premises Applications
Can I use to record and monitor who enters our premises such as reception area, stock room, car park, shop front, even my shop cash tills etc.?
Yes, you are legally entitled to operate a monitoring and recording system for this purpose, even though you must display appropriate signage to say what you are doing.
You must also comply with the Data Protection Act (contact them for details), whereby images are not stored for other purposes other than security etc.
You may use the system not only to monitor and record, but this in turn can be connected to alarm and sensors to fulfill multiple trigger devices for enhanced applications. These are perfect products to allow you to use your PC to Work from and see who is at reception desk etc.
Can I see live images of my home from my workplace or anywhere in the world?

Can I broadcast a live demo or training session to my staff over the internet anywhere?
Yes, you can. Each Crime-Seen DVR (CS DVRBX) units allows for infinite remote logins to view and listen live. Each web server (CS KWEB T101) allows infinite log ins to view and listen live. Note the web server needs no PC at the local site as it operates by channelling information directly through the telephone line.
If I have several premises I want to watch at the same time what do I need?
You need any Crime-Seen product connected at those sites and you can monitor, record and watch any number of sites using our UCM software. Groups of 32 x different sites at the same time anytime, anywhere through one PC. This acts as a client programme which comes as standard in your Crime-Seen software, but with the exception of 32 x screenshots on your PC screen
